misamarumaru 0 Posted ... (edited) I have run Terminal commands on Mac OS X (Yosemite) to disable my machine from sleeping, even if I close the computer lid. Even if the screen turns off I set Wi-Fi to remain active. Despite this, when the screen disables after a few minutes the Wi-Fi remains active but AirVPN (using Eddie) is interrupted and has to reconnect when my machine's screen turns back on. Is there a way to force a connection to remain active? EDIT: Thought the log would be useful. This log tracks every action between the connection being active and my lid closing. Note that lid closure on my machine does NOT cause Wi-Fi to interrupt, machine to sleep or any other usual break in connection. . 2015.06.04 11:43:19 - OS X - PF rules updated, reloadingI 2015.06.04 11:43:19 - Checking DNS! 2015.06.04 11:43:19 - Connected.. 2015.06.04 11:43:19 - OpenVpn Management > >INFO:OpenVPN Management Interface Version 1 -- type 'help' for more info. 2015.06.04 11:43:19 - OpenVPN > MANAGEMENT: Client connected from [AF_INET]127.0.0.1:3100. 2015.06.04 11:50:04 - Updating systems & servers data .... 2015.06.04 11:50:04 - Systems & servers data update completed. 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - OpenVPN > [server] Inactivity timeout (--ping-restart), restarting. 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - OpenVPN > SIGUSR1[soft,ping-restart] received, process restarting. 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - OpenVPN > Restart pause, 5 second(s). 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - OS X - PF rules updated, reloading! 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - Disconnecting. 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - Management - Send 'signal SIGTERM'. 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - OpenVPN > MANAGEMENT: CMD 'signal SIGTERM'. 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - OpenVPN > MANAGEMENT: Client disconnected. 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - OpenVPN > Assertion failed at misc.c:788. 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - OpenVPN > Exiting due to fatal error. 2015.06.04 12:00:55 - Connection terminated.
