george493 2 Posted ... Hello,Does tcpcrypt add an extra layer of security while running AirVPN?If so, how do you set it up to run while connected to AirVpn?Thanks. George493 Quote Share this post Link to post
zhang888 1066 Posted ... You can't set it up because both ends have to support tcpcrypt. If you want an extra layer, you can use SSL/SSH instead, it is much more practical and well tested. Adding extra layers of encryption does not always mean extra security, since with AirVPN you havemultiple channels of encryption, network and data. You can refer to the FAQ where they explain it. george493 2 Posted ... OK, but if both ends are not supporting tcptcrypt, doesn't the connection revert to normal tcp? Thus, it could be run(by me, client)and used only when server supports it. Quote Share this post Link to post
