Anyone running vpn client on a Asus N66U with DD-WRT 26138

I've just put 26138 (big) dd-wrt on my Asus RT N66U but have not been able to get the vpn client to work. Has anyone gotten this going, or should I be looking at an older version or go with Tomato? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
