AirVPN connection crashes Firefox and IE on Windows 8.1

Hi,

 

I've been using the AirVPN client on Linux until today and have had no problem with it. Today, I tried to configure it on Windows 8.1 and noticed that when connected, Firefox freezes upon completion of any file download. I tried erasing my Firefox profile and still reproduced the problem. I then uninstalled and made a clean install of Firefox on my system and still had the same crash. At that point, I tried launching Internet Explorer, which was unable to load any tabs without the tab freezing and crashing. The problem immediately resolves itself when I disconnect from the VPN.

 

Please let me know if I can provide any further information to resolve this issue.
