Can't connect (cannot resolve host address)

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

looks like I can't connect using AirVPN V2.8.8. Tunnelblick works fine.

I'm on OS-X Yosemite 10.10.2 (14C109).

Here's a copy of the logs when attempting to connect:

Got response from AirVPN staff. The following procedure worked for me:

Hello!

Your system can't resolve localhost, which is a name needed by our client and not by Tunnelblick (that's why Tunnelblick works). Please try to have localhost resolution in your hosts file, with the line:

127.0.0.1 localhost
