Mac client cycles thru but never connects

The following issue persists on my Mac whether I use v2.7 or v2.8 RC3 of the Mac client.

 

[1] Click on "Connect to a recommended server."

[2] "Checking authorization..." appears in the window.

[3] Then, "Restart in 3 sec., 2 sec., 1 sec." appears.

 

After that, it cycles through [2] and [3], but never connects to the server. What should I do?

What Mac OS are you running? According to the AirVPN staff the client was designed to work on OSX and up. Previous versions are not supported. 

 

If you have and older versions I would suggest getting the program Viscosity. It is a very nice program that you can implement scripts into (a killswitch for example. https://airvpn.org/topic/12665-viscosity-vpn-killswitch-for-mac-and-windows/). It does cost $9 but, in my opinion, well worth it.
