Signing in to this site problem?.

For some strange reason the forums here are not remembering my details and I have to sign in each time I visit. I am sure that previously the site remembered my details and automatically signed me in. Is it meant to be that way now?.

I started that other thread because I was getting logged out every time I clicked on a link within this site, even doing a speed test or making a forum post took 2 or three logins.

 

However, several days ago (I can't remember just when) I logged in and have been logged in ever since, through a number of restarts and server changes. I have no idea why, I've been a subscriber here for a while and this is the first time I haven't had to log in every time I visit. I may be wrong, but it seems to me the problem fixed itself right after the OpenVPN upgrade was finished. Probably a coincidence.  

 

I'm using Safari 8.0.1 on a Mac running Yosemite OS 10,10.1. That doesn't really mean anything, because people were / are having the problem on Windows, too.

 

Am I the only one who has seen this problem go away lately?

I have had the same problem (using Firefox) for several months. I posted here once.

 

I have an installation of portable Firefox too. And it works!

 

I have tried running without Add-On-s. Did not help.

I use the PaleMoon browser a 64bit version of Firefox, so maybe that is the problem. I will try using IE11 and let you know.

I've had this problem too FF 31.x (31.3) over the last couple weeks (click remember me and it does not very long). Frustrating but not the end of the world.

I found out that if I visited this site via the link on the AirVPN GUI it remembers my details fine. However if I use the bookmarked link in my browser favourites (which I had been) then that is the one which forgets the details.
