Airvpn to protect access to home server

Hi,

 

I don't want to open up to ports of an Owncloud server to the open web, so I want to protect it with an OpenVPN. Our router can provide VPN access to our LAN, so that's one solution.

 

However, we already use AirVPN, always on, to protect the privacy of our devices. It's a nuisance to have to disconnect from AirVPN to connect to the LAN VPN, and vice versa.

 

I was wondering if someone knows of a way I could configure access to the server to only allow traffic from our AirVPN accounts? I wondered if there might be some way to do this using the custom port forwarding. Any ideas?
