Dd-WRT cannot connect as NTP not connecting

I am unable to get my DD-WRT router connected to AirVPN as the NTP server not connecting,hence no time or date. I have tried many NTPs but none able to get any to show up the time and date on the router. Is it possible that the ISP here in Nairobi can block NTP servers? I am using SSL tunneling to get out.
