HOmERCIdAL 1 Posted ... Hi, I am currently testing AirVPN and I have to say I am very impressed. However I have used a German server yesterday and today Ophiuchi from Holland and I am still able to stream iPlayer live?. I have checked each server with DNSleakage and IPlocation and all confirm the servers are working great and as advertised but I am a little confused.... Should Iplayer not detect I am using a European IP and so barr me from viewing iPlayer?? BTW I am in the UK so are they somehow able to tell via cookies perhaps?. NooB question I know but need an answer. Thanks Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1441 Posted ... Do you mean the BBC iPlayer? Connections from all servers to BBC will be routed through a GB server internally to make sure you don't need to connect to a GB server on your own to view BBC. Same thing with Netflix. And hulu. And "a few" other sites. 1 HOmERCIdAL reacted to this Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. HOmERCIdAL 1 Posted ... Yes I meant BBC iPlayer. That's good to hear as I am in the UK myself and I thought my IP may have been somehow detected hence why I was still able to view live BBC iPlayer. 1 OpenSourcerer reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
