retiredpilot 6 Posted ... Looking for a suggestion or two. I am in a situation (at times) where I need to mount a live Ubuntu disk in RAM only for security reasons. Once linux is mounted it would be nice to connect to Air during my surfing session. Using 14.04 live, how would it be possible to use my Air account? The live media doesn't have Air in the build so I would be willing to download the small client each time or have pre-saved configurations to use from a flash. I seem to remember dependency issues before and I am getting ready to start the process of learning this over again. Is this doable, or will I need to create a custom live disk? encrypted 13 Posted ... Live USB boot with persistent storage could work but there are other obvious security issues and potential breakage applying security and other updates. Quote Share this post Link to post
rainmakerraw 94 Posted ... I normally just sudo apt-get install network-manager-openvpn-gnome and allow all dependencies to be installed. It's only a small download, and you can then sudo cp the usual ovpn and key files to /etc/openvpn and you're away. Quote Share this post Link to post
