Quite interesting in your log is the line with an unfamiliar IP address at the end... 16.168.8.16.. according to ip-api.com, it belongs to Hewlett Packard (HP) in America. It's set as a gateway. I don't have that in my current routing table... On-topic next. There aren't many resources on this error in connection with OpenVPN, the best I could find is a bug called the Flyspray Bug #98 in TOR. It refers to a common bug in Windows XP.
