Is AirVPN always on once I install and start it, Can I turn it off

Just new, and I watched a video but it didn't say if I will always be connect via vpn or if I must start it each time I want to use it?

Will the iinstall change any of my pc's settings which I may need to reset later if i don't want or use airvpn?

it has settings, for auto start at boot etc but you will be able to start / stop the connection and when you uninstall it the installed files will be removed. as for settings they are only relevant to the app and when uninstalled they are gone

Thanks for the reply, but I need to better describe my concern.

 

Once I download and install airvpn's software will I always be using the vpn as I go about my normal web browsing?

 

If I close my browser (Firefox) and later restart it will I automatically be using the vpn or will I be back to my normal Uverse connection?

 

Do I then need to restart Airvpn?
