I hate the word "NSA-proof" nothing is 100% secure and they are also using Amazon cloud servers.

 

(Amazon and DuckDuckGo are both US based companies).

I tested YaCy a few days ago. It's okay but most of the time it didn't find what I wanted it to find. For example, I searched for TPB, and it didn't even find the front page.. according to the client, it searched my local index as well as a few remote indexes.
