Extremely low upload speed with uTorrent(<0.2K/s)?

Hi,

 

I am trying to run uTorrent behind VPN. My system is Ubuntu 12.04 x64, and i 've setup the port forwarding.

 

My speedtest with the Ubuntu ISO torrent without VPN: DL 4MB/s, UL 20K/s(???).

 

Ather I setup the VPN ,the DL speed is around 1MB/s. and upload speed is less than 0.2KB/s.

 

I use UDP on port 443.

 

Counting the possible peering problem, the speed is really abnormal. 

 

What can lead to such result? And what can I do to fix this?

You could try deleting the port forwarding settings you have and setting that up again?

 

Or try a different torrent?

Try to change the port to 53 or 80. You lose 75% of your original download speed, this isn't good at all!
