airvpnuser3000 0 Posted ... Hi All, Sorry for asking another slow speed question but from what I have found it appears many folks ask about slow torrent speed but mine is OK it is just streaming that slow. Upload looks good also. When I stream YouTube etc via VPN its slow and choppy which is not good considering my line speed. I am UK based and have tried a number of UK servers at different times. Once tried a US TV service via a US server and it was not watchable. Results via http://www.speedtest.net/Without VPN DL: 60mb UL 18mbWithVPN DL: 0.88mb UL 11mb Torrent: DL: 2mb - 3mb (I am happy with that as I am just using a public tracker) I did a check to make sure torrent was using VPN and all looked good so any ideas where to start with the slow streaming/DL. I am new to the world of VPN and just use the airvpn client. Many thanks in advance. Quote Share this post Link to post

It cannot be called stream then since the video is downloaded into the browser cache but it may solve problems with YouTube. By the way: Same thing with other sites using Flash content. It's horrible. I then deactivated Flash completely to force Firefox using HTML5. It works on most sites. Did you try other ports? Try out 53 and 80, please. Maybe connecting through TCP could help you, too. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT.
