iPlayer, 4OD not working for new user

Hi Guys,

 

I have just moved from the UK to Germany and am new to VPN.  I've managed to get connected to AirVPN's UK servers (e.g. Naos) and can surf the web without issue on Ubuntu 12.04.  

 

However, I cannot use either the iPlayer, 4OD websites, nor the get-iplayer download tool.  The iPlayer website says the content isn't working, 4OD just stalls indefinitely trying to connect and get-iplayer gives an RTMP handshake failure error.

 

Any ideas what might be causing this?  Have I missed something in the setup, or is there some other reason why this doesn't work?
