  EarthVPN (vpn no save  logs) user was exposed after the police pulled datacenter logs.

this can happen in airvpn?

some data center  aivpn something? or
could store even without knowing airvpn
because of a court order? or to be invaded?

The main reason this happened was because EarthVPN does not have shared IPs which kills anonymity. If you are on the same server with many people it is harder to distinguish who is doing what (like on AirVPN). On the side this EarthVPN user should not have sent a bomb threat in the first place, it was a very stupid thing to do.

You can't trust providers that run their VPN exits from cheap Virtual Servers.

Most of EarthVPN servers were from a company named EDIS.at, which sells cheap (upto 10$/month) low-end virtual servers.

 

This way, too many people beyond the VPN service operators can reach any data and intercept anything they want.
