Prepaid card to purchase subscription

Can anyone from the US who has sucessfully bought a subscription using a prepaid card, please tell me which card you used. I have tried one visa card from walmart and an amex, both of which did not work. I can buy on other non-paypal sites though. This is really frustrating. Can someone help me out?

I did it with a Vanilla card, but first i registered the card, then added money to paypal with it. Then I used paypal to buy the subscription, or something like that. Good Luck

Just curious....are you trying to avoid using paypal? If not, I know that you can register your prepaid card with paypal and use those funds (through paypal) to pay for the subscription.

I am not avoding paypal. I just do not want to sign up with my personal information on paypal.
