Air stopped working on DD-WRT

Recommended Posts

I have had air working on my router for about a month now and the other day it just quit. Nothing was changed in the settings. I took the firewall off and still didn't work. I re-applied the openvpn settings and nothing  happened. I rebooted the router and re-applied the settings and still nothing. I can connect via the air client though. Help

Hello!

Puzzling, we did not change anything in the servers configurations in the last days. What do the OpenVPN logs say?

Kind regards

Puzzling indeed. I cannot get into the logs in the router. I try going to Status - OpenVPN but it hangs and doesn't load. I can connect with the air client even after applying the openvpn settings in the router, so it is not connecting at all. It used to say "already connected" when it worked.

Hello!

Can you manage to connect via ssh or telnet into your router? If you can, please look at the running processes, for example:

ps aux | grep -v grep | grep openvpn

and have also a look at the interfaces:
ifconfig

and at your INPUT and NAT iptables:
iptables -L
iptables -t nat -L

Additionally, assuming that you can access via a ssh, have a look here, just in case the web interface has been disabled:

Kind regards

Hm okay I pulled up the processes and took a screenshot. I got to it by the command "top", is this correct? The interfaces look fine and with the tables I really don't know what I am looking at. I hard reset the router and imported my settings back into it and it still didn't work. I can access the web gui fine with any other tab except for the openvpn status tab - it is the only tab that freezes up the router. I'm going to try hard resetting and manually enter the information tomorrow without restoring settings. If that doesn't work then I don't know what else to do. Nothing at all has changed to my knowledge!
