[SOLVED] No Web access after week offline

Last successful firefox internet access was one week ago.

No changes to my comodo or airvpn set up.

Airvpn client connects fine (castor).

Can hit airvpn.org via browser (host file setting?).

Server not found for all other url's.

Bitcomet connects (shows DHT connected and displays WAN).

start up page does not load and stuck in 'signing in' status.

Hello!

The logs do not show any problem. Let's see whether it's a DNS resolution issue, since your system resolves airvpn.org from your hosts file.

While you're connected to a VPN server, please open a command prompt, issue the following commands and send us the output:

ping google.com

ping 10.4.0.1

ping 8.8.8.8

ping airvpn.org

All results while connected via castor,

Win 7 host running virtualbox running xp,

win7 host experiencing no problems,

virtual box restarted a few times,

XP dns set up follows the recommended guidelines to eliminate DNS leaks.

Hello!

Apparently your system can't resolve names when connected to the VPN, but it can reach the DNS IP address 10.4.0.1. This suggests that it's only a DNS problem which we have met (rarely) on some Windows systems.

Please try to set as primary (preferred) DNS server IP address of your physical network card(s) (ethernet and/or wireless) the address 10.4.0.1.
