It takes several times connecting through the airVPN client for the IP to change

When I start up airVPN, the IP address does not change after I connect. I need to disconnect and reconnect 3-4 times before my IP address changes (regardless of the servers I choose). I've tried connecting and waiting up to 10 minutes as well, and this does not work. Just now, I tried connecting 6 times, and my IP address would not change (according to several IP checking sites).
