ANSWERED Eddie disconnects on MacBook Pro sleep

Recommended Posts

Apologies, I'm sure this problem was solved a while ago, but on a search, I could not find the solution. Basically, when my MacBook Pro sleeps, Eddie disconnects. Upon waking, it reconnects. Eddie 2.17.2. OS X 10.11.6. Is there a solution to keeping it connected?

Hello!

Of course it disconnects if your Mac is sleeping and nothing is running. If you use Network Lock, you shouldn't experience any leaks however, which is what you're worried about I presume.

Why do you want it to stay connected if your Mac is asleep and not in use?

Moderators do not speak on behalf of AirVPN. Only the Official Staff account does. Please also do not run Tor Exit Servers behind AirVPN, thank you.

Ha. Never really thought of it that way I guess. I'm so used to my iMac always being connected and not sleeping, I expected the MacBook to also stay connected. I admit to my stupidity and also to getting to the age where my brain, apparently, does not work any more.
