Real IP detected when using Android emulator

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, haven't been here in awhile! I just had something weird happen. I am connected through pfsense on my router and connected through ethernet cable. Everything shows I am connected to an AirVPN server, except for NoxPlayer, the Android emulator program.

When I opened NoxPlayer, Google signed in to my account I had set up and then pushed an alert to ask if I recognize the activity, and it had my real IP where the sign in request came from. How is that possible that Google is displaying my true IP as the location I am signing in from? It has never done this before on any Android system I have had. It has to be something with Google, because when I visit ipleak.net through a browser in NoxPlayer, it shows the VPN. I understand Google has the information I have signed in with my real IP before, but it shouldn't know I am there now. Thanks.
