"SSL Not Available" message at Eddie startup

Recommended Posts

Hello . . . first of all, I have used AirVPN for several years and have always been very happy with the service and performance.  Also, the Eddie client is amazing to me and makes using a VPN service very simple for someone like me who isn't totally network-proficient.

I recently switched from Ubuntu Linux to Antergos (an Arch-based distro) and have noticed that a message I have never seen before pops up when Eddie first starts, as it says in the topic, "SSL Not Available".  Eddie starts fine and connects with no problem and I have no real issues of which I'm aware.

When I check my installed applications, it appears that I have OpenSSL 1.1.1.a-1 installed along with several libraries one would expect.

I'm more curious than anything else why that message comes up.  I'm pasting what appears to be the relevant part of the log below (and if I'm supposed to attach it in a file or use some kind of quoting code, I do apologize.  I looked for posting guidelines but didn't see anything specific about that.  Thanks for any insights on this.

Here's the portion of the log that references what I'm talking about:
