After installing package on my distro from this button

 

 

Should i go through and make it? What if i don't do it but only install the package ?

My opinion is absolutely yes.  You didn't mention which distro you are running but its likely the same answer for any of them.  By installing and having the validation key on your system you can set the AirVpn client Eddie to automatically update when your system updates the OS, etc....  Its an easy process to add the key and the sources list addition to look for Eddie's latest stable release (you can even set it to use the beta stuff if you are so inclined).  I only use the stable releases but when they come down its automatic and further the signature key verifies the download is signed by Air and its not a counterfeit, or it won't load to your system.
