Can't connect after Windows Update - Password needed?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I run AirVPN on Win 10  but after the most recent update the AirVPN client hasn't worked. It turned out that a recent Win10 update had changed the firewall settings so I re-enabled all the Eddie .exe files and it seemed to work again but I can't connect to a server properly.

When I connect to a server the logs indicate that the intialization has completed but then there's an additional line: "OpenVPN Management > Enter Password:"

The connection just hangs at this point. It's like I need to authenticate but there's no way to do so. I can see traffic uploads but no downloads and I can't access the internet at all. Here's the log:

I'm not sure what's needed next and why I can't connect. I also use the OpenVPN standalone app on my PC to use with ProtonVPN config files. ProtonVPN also stopped working when the firewall settings were reset but it works again without any problems so I'm sure it's something specific to the AirVPN client.

Thanks for any help.

EDIT:

I used the config generator to create an .ovpn file for an AirVPN server and ran it in the OpenVPN desktop client. I still couldn't connect though. Here's the log:
