Eddie client windows 10 / nvr help

Im not sure how to do this but heres my question.

 

I have a nvr which is connected to att wireless lte. I cannot acces it remotly. Going thru a vpn i can get back to it.

I would like to use a windows 10 machine running eddie or even a glinet running openvpn on it.

 

But my question is wiring. Can i run the eddie client on a windows machine and set the gateway in the nvr to the windows 10 machine?

 

Or can i set the glinet router running openvpn and set it as a gateway?
