How to use Eddie with WinGate proxy server software?

Recommended Posts

I would like to use WinGate (http://www.wingate.com/products/wingate/index.php) with the Eddie AirVPN Client on my PC. The problem is that WinGate only "sees" hardware NICs and not virtual (TAP) adapters. How can I get around the WinGate limitation of seeing only hardware NICs and still have all the traffic going through AirVPN?

(Rationale: I want to use WinGate as an alternative to Windows Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) so that all my PCs and devices communicate with the internet via my main PC which acts as a proxy server and via Eddie so that all the traffic goes through a VPN.)
