Eddie fails to start, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Downloaded Eddie client from Airvpn with proper config...linux, ubuntu, 64, gui. It started fine and worked well after install, until I shut down the computer. Upon re-start, Eddie fails to start. The icon has the spinning disc as if it wants to start, but suddenly greys out and disappears. Where's Eddie?

Please launch Eddie from terminal (does not mean with -cli) and get back if you encounter any errors in the output.

Thanks for the terminal advice. Now, to lay myself bare....I am a noob with linux/ubuntu, and getting myself off of the Windows mindset. What is the command to launch Eddie from the terminal?

 

My searches list "installation" but I've already installed it.....I just need to launch
