AirVPN client has broken my Windows network / firewall settings

So, I'm trying out AirVPN as my first go at a VPN and have already encountered a major issue. 

 

The Windows client has apparently modified my network settings to the point that I can't get online at all unless I first run the AirVPN client. I've not seen any clear documentation for how to undo this.

 

I don't always want to run a VPN / need to be able to toggle between running one and not, so this is a major problem. That, and my paid trial runs out in about a day, and I really don't want to have to find another online device to use to troubleshoot since my computer will be stuck offline.

 

I've already put in a support ticket. If they aren't able to solve the issue before my trial expands, I am not okay with being forced to pay more money or do a system reformat
