When are we going to see one?

I have multiple devices like Andriod Boxes that would greatly benefit from a simplied app, can we see one soon please?

It would be interesting to see a dedicated android app...but i think openvpn for android will be the only solution for now...if thats what you were saying

I dont know what Staff wpuld say, but I believe that they won't spend time since they have eddie and you can use openvpn app and download a config file

I downloaded OpenVPN and did a config file, however, I've gone from my device running at 220 mbps to 4 mbps, any advice on how to speed things up please?

Your device is probably responsible for the speed loss, specifically the CPU.

I have a

"MINIX NEO X8-H Plus Smart TV Box Quad Core Media Hub running Android Kitkat 4.4"  If there's a way to configure this to make it run better, I would be happy to hear it.

A dedicated Android app would be good to have. OpenVPN works pretty well for me though. Certainly not seeing big slowdowns. Just done a speed test and got 31Mb down on my 40Mb connection (Netherlands config file). So I'm losing a bit, but not enough for me to worry about.

 

Using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 edition, running Android 7.0
