ANSWERED Is Eddie Gone?

Im trying to install the Eddie Client on my Linux and Windows PCs and the linux page and windows page dont have links for Eddie anymore.  Is it gone?  I paid for a subscription and cant use it now.

Some thread about eddie has a link to eddie.website. Trying to go there gives:

 

> eddie.website uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 07/02/2017 09:14 PM. The current time is 07/03/2017 01:46 AM. Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE

 

So I'm assuming the main airvpn pages pull from eddie.website and it's not working because the expired cert.

Same here. It was fine up to a minute ago, then poof!!!  The government!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Ive never seen this happen before tho

I have also just paid for a 6-month subscription.  I used this service in 2014 with no issues.  But now, there are no eddie client links anywhere, underneath "Using our client Eddie - choose your flavor", it's just blank.  I can't even use what I paid for now. 

 

I tried to use OpenVPN, but after generating the config file, it just puts an icon in the running programs area (I'm on Windows 7). Right clicking just has 'import file', 'settings' & 'exit'.  And this site shows me not connected still. (EDIT: I got OpenVPN working, but I still would like to know what happened to the Eddie client links)

 

Anyone know what's going on with the Eddie client links?

It's recommended as temporary substitution to use fruho.

3. sudo apt-get install -f
