Ever heard of the User Agent String? In browsers, this string is sent everytime you access a website. It contains info on your browser and OS. The other info is pulled from JavaScript.

Disabling JavaScript will fix it partly, but will also break most websites. You can limit sending this data out by using the addons NoScript and/or RequestPolicy. Be aware, they are intended for advanced users.

As for the UA string, it's possible to change it. I did this once and the results were not as I hoped. Chances are that JavaScript will pull that info as well.

Sent via Tapatalk. Means, I don't have a computer available now.
