ANSWERED Slow speeds / Resolving Host...

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've been running AirVPN for a long time, but for the last 2 days, I'm seeing very slow internet browisng speeds regardless of what server I connect to. In Chrome I see "Resolving Host..." when I browse to a new site, and have to wait between 5-20 seconds before it actually loads the page. Sometimes I see "Waiting for x...." as well.

Disconnecting from AirVPN and using the internet "raw" is perfectly fast though.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hello!

Have you updated your client?

Hopefully I can bring back this post instead of making a new one...

I had no problems running AirVPN on Windows 7. I upgraded to Windows 10 and while on AirVPN, I'm having issues with "resolving host" on chrome.

Any suggestions?

Try setting the metric for your network adapters manually:

For example try setting the IPV4 metric for your standart network adapter to "25" and AirVPNs TAP adapters IPV4 metric to "15".

This should resolve the long loading times.

If it doesn´t take effect right away try rebooting first.

And have you updated your client?

It would be helpful with some logs from the Air client .
