Why is there an occasional error with dns leak detection?

Recommended Posts

The page at https://ipleak.net/, the DNS Detection will produce the correct results showing there is no DNS leak with the public IP matching that of the detected DNS IP, however, occasionally, very seldom, the results notice above the DNS IP (which matches the public IP) will indicate an error (e.g. 'DNS Address - 1 server, 2 errors'.)

so what is the error? It would be good to know so if there is an issue it can be corrected.

Thank You

Don't worry. ipleak.net perform more than 200 tests in-a-row, to have an accurate detection. A single test may fail for many reason, it's not a security issue or a real problem.
