Why is Alcor so slow? Can anyone get good speeds?

Recommended Posts

Is anyone able to get good speeds on Alcor? The most i was able to get was 4-5 mbits/second. Other servers nearby in Latvia and Lithuania can get 20-40 mbits per second.

Did you check for packet loss?

Yep. No problems in the latest issues page. And CMD is is showing no packet loss when pinging google.

I meant packet loss from you to the server. Maybe you have packet loss across the hops to the server. Try running a traceroute directly to Alcor.

I can't see anything wrong with my trace route. Is there supposed to be something here that tells me if there is packet loss?

It would seem there is no packet loss on my end.

Since there is no packet loss, I would open a ticket and see what they say.
