... or just append your logfile so the community can help you further... don't know if a Popcorn Time client has this but if it does, append its logfile as well.

Always remember:
There's a guide to AirVPN,

Amazon IPs are not dangerous here,
running TOR exits is discouraged,

using spoilers for your logs is the proper way to heaven.
Same issues are rare! Search for solutions and if not successful open your own threads.

~ Furthermore, I propose that your paranoia is to be destroyed. ~

And the message i receive from popcorntime whenever i try to connect with vpn is the remote movie api failed to respond

It may be that they block servers in general or the ones you use or a port problem.

There's a few different popcorn time port/versions out there, where are you getting the one you're trying to use?

Using Auva I had no problems with it. Just started a few seconds of random movie having installed it in sandboxie.  Does it stall or give a connection error?  I would gather that if your browsing speed is slow then popcorntime may be timing out. What hardware are you using?

my hardware isnt a problem running on a pretty good pc. Now that you said it it could be that it just times out because of the speeds. When browsing normally sites take up to 10 seconds to load on every server i connect to. I thought that would be normal but i guess not. If its important i have a technicolor tc7200 its the standard modem/router  you get from unitymedia germany amything i could try to up the speed ?

Popcorntime has removed the vpn feature from the app (the lock button). Is there anyway to still use this while using the app? or should i opt in other popcorn time vpn service?
