It's got to be something local.  Perhaps some Firewall permissions rule.  If not, is the server you are connecting to have an IP whitelist?

I use FileZilla all the time on Air and never once had a problem like that.

When i am on any other network without airvpn, it works flawless.
When I am on my own network without airvpn, it works flawless.

When I am on my own network with airvpn, it never works.

There are no whitelists, or anything. I'm not blacklisted either.

Can you try different servers? The only possibility here is that the IP you are connecting from (Air)

is firewalled from the FTP host you are connecting to.

You can also try connecting to public servers like ftp.debian.org to see that everything is working.

Okay, tried disabling my firewall - no change -

I logged in on my nat that uses the airvpn and tried disabling the firewall and ftp works!

But i dont want to keep my nat firewall off, so now i need to know what to allow through.

I have my laptop where i work on. The ftp client is here too.

My laptop is wired to my own server directly.

This server handles NAT, routing and runs the airvpn.

My server is connected to the internet.

I'm running windows server 2012 datacenter and the routing on there is done by RRAS (Routing And Remote Access) feature.
