On my Raspberry Pi 2 model b, as soon as I enable AirVPN's network lock feature, my shared media servers on Raspbian are no longer discovered by other devices. If I, say, make a playlist from the Raspberry media server on another device, and then activate the network lock, I can still access and play the content that's in the playlist, but can no longer browse or see the media library. "Allow lan/private" and "Allow ping" are checked in the settings. I can access SMB shares and connect the Raspbian with ssh with the network lock on, no problem.

Raspbian, client 2.10.3 network lock prevents UPnP media server discovery
