AirVPN client with OpenVPN server on same router

Recommended Posts

Hi all

got AirVPN running on Asus RT-AC66U without problems via OpenVPN client since few days. My router runs MerlinWRT
Portforwarded some services running on my network after some trial and error, but in the end it works as it should
Now my next challenge has arrived.
Before using AirVPN client I ran an OpenVPN server on my router to connect to my home network.
My OpenVPN server is running at the same time as the AirVPN client, but its not responding to anything. When disabling AirVPN client my devices connects without a hitch to the server.
I understand that I do something wrong, or misconfigured anything, but I cannot find anything useful about this on the net.
Im clueluess   . Cant someone give me some poiners?

Im running AirVPN client AirVPN_Europe_UDP-443 and automatic configured OpenVPN server on the same router. I enabled OpenVPN server after starting AirVPN clients.

Thanks in advance!

Currently made some progress (at least I hope so).

In the AirVPN client settings i made Policy Rules

Because my router won't go the AirVPN route my OpenVPN server is accessibly from the cellular network.

However I don't have access to my local devices when connected to my server... Any hits?

With my limited VPN / router knowledge I cant manage to fix this. For the moment I have to live without my OpenVPN server to acces my home network.
