mnemk 0 Posted ... I have a similar problem. I'm using Tixati encrypted packets only. Without vpn using sock5 proxy and tcp encrypted i get about 1.5mbps to 2.5 mbps. With vpn(airvpn client) and portforwarding and ssl tunneling to 443 and without the tunnel I consistently get about 10 - 24 kpbs down. If i stop my torrents. my down jumps to about 200kbps. Is there a configuration that I'm not getting right? I tried to follow the advice given in https://airvpn.org/topic/13568-issues-with-torrents/. I haven't run the TCPOptimizer mentioned. There but thats about it. I'm new to airvpn just trying to understand what Im doing wrong. Quote Share this post Link to post
htpc 9 Posted ... also, it seems that not all air servers allow port forwarding. I have ports forwarded to transmission and it was working perfectly for the longest time. lately though on US servers the ports remain closed while as soon as I connect to one of the canadian servers for example ports open immediately. Is this a known issue? Quote Share this post Link to post
