EFF - Who has your back - Protecting Your Data From Government Requests

Recommended Posts

The EFF compiled it's annual report regarding major internet companies transparency.

Worth to read which ones you should avoid (I would recommend avoiding most)

Slack earns three stars in this year’s Who Has Your Back report.

Depicts four in the PDF. Just a note.

Also, WhatsApp is not a real company, it's a (messaging) service with an Inc. skin. I'd even say it's still a start-up despite it being so long on the market, and start-ups are, as I see it, services who concentrate on a certain feature while not really paying attention to anything else. WhatsApp doesn't progress, but Facebook does. So if you are looking for any information disclosure rules, look up to its mother-in-law - Facebook.
