Remote Login to my Synology NAS while connected to AirVpn

Hello,

 

I wanted to switch to Airvpn.

 

I have my Synology connected to Airvpn, but am UNABLE to access it through wither its's quickconnect, or DDNS.

 

I am unfamiliar how to access it while it's connected to AIRvpn.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

You should add a forwarded port (5000 in this case), and check the port airvpn will give you automatically.

 

Then, hit http://YourAirVPNSynologyIP:AirVPNPort in your favorite browser

Hi,

I've read somewhere that a dedicated IP is also required in order for remote access to Synology box to be possible once it's connected to VPN. Is this really required or just port forwarding is sufficient? I'm hoping to still be able to access my Synology box via web and the DS apps. Thanks.
