Connection failed + DNS leak + "bad quality package"

Recommended Posts

Every other time or so that I try to connect, it immediately fails and then I go onto the forums to try and troubleshoot instead of getting my work done for the day.
Today I thought perhaps there is a problem with Ubuntu network manager and that I'd try the client instead. So I did this and it seemed to connect through the terminal. To be safe I checked IPchicken which told me the VPN was working, and then DNSleaktest which told me I did have a leak, which identified me. No good at all. Good thing I checked.

When I downloaded and tried to install the client for ubuntu, it prompts me saying;

The package is of bad quality
The installation of a package which violates the quality standards isn't allowed. This could cause serious problems on your computer. Please contact the person or organisation who provided this package file and include the details beneath.

Lintian check results for /path/AirVPN/airvpn_linux_x86.deb:
E: airvpn: arch-independent-package-contains-binary-or-object usr/lib/AirVPN/openvpn
E: airvpn: arch-independent-package-contains-binary-or-object usr/lib/AirVPN/stunnel

This is greek to me, so I guess there will be no client installed today.

I love airVPN when it works. But there are problems so often... I really can't start every other day by trying to fix (and understand) problems like these, I'm loosing to much time to this...
If every time the connection in network manager fails it actually told me what the problem was, then maybe these snafus could be solved quicker.

Note:
Just tried connecting again through network manager, while I was writing the above, and now it connects just fine!! WHAT is going on!?!?
Scratch that. There is no traffic.
Scratch that too. It now doesn't connect again
