Client logs in but does not connect to server

Recommended Posts

Hi! I'm testing your service, but the client seems to have an issue.

The clients logs in, but when I try to connect to a server it stays idling on "Connecting" page...

Any idea about the cause of this problem?

I am at work, so I don't have full control over the network.

Thanks in advance for your support.

Are you using a windows machine or mobile? Have you tried different ports to connect? Also at my work only tcp connection works UDP blocked.

I also started having this problem today. I'm seeing it with OpenVPN GUI and also with the AirVPN Windows client. With the AirVPN client, it appears that I'm logged in but when I try to connect to a server, after a few seconds it goes back to the login screen. I tried several server both here in the US and UK and had the same result. When I logged in here on the web site, it indicated that I was connected to a server.

I'd love a response with some advice as soon as possible. Thanks!

Update:

I checked the OpenVPN log and and saw this:

All TAP-Windows adapters on this system are currently in use.

When I checked Network Connection I saw that my Tap adapter was Disabled and I realized that I had accidentally disabled earlier today. I enabled it and every is working.

Sorry for the confusion. Maybe this will help someone else.

THanks! I will try to apply your solution, but unfortunately my free trial has ended... Any ideas on if I can get it renewed since I can't test it the first time as it wasn't working?
