I get a microsoft .NET framework error when i start up air vpn. it says "unhandled exception has occured in your application. if you click continue the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit, the application will close immediately. index was out of range. must be non negative and less than the size of the collection. parameter name: start index.

i press continue and i see the server list. i try to connect to one of them. the status icon says failed to start. halp.

Hi, I'm having the same issue, unfortunatley I'm not as computer literate as I should be, My brother usually sorts these issues(if any) for me..  How do you check your running the correct .NET frameworks and how would I go about getting the correct ones.. cheers

Hello,

it's written in the Windows instructions page. Air client for Windows XP, Vista and 7 requires .NET 2.0. It should be installed by default but you have the link in the same page to download it, in case it's missing. Air client for Windows 8 requires .NET 4 (preinstalled on Windows 8).

Also make sure that you do not mismatch 32 bit with 64 bit version or vice-versa.

Kind regards

.net framework and client version all are right. still get the same error msg. will try updating windows some more and see if that fixes things.

Hello,

could you both try to run OpenVPN GUI (or OpenVPN directly) so that we can determine for sure whether the problem is in the Air client or somewhere in OpenVPN? Apparently it's in the client, but anyway doing so is not a waste of time: if it's the client, then you have an effective way to connect in any case. If it's OpenVPN, more clues will come out.

Kind regards
