Problem with port forwarding?

Has anyone else had issues with port forwarding?

 

I've forwarded a port in AirVPN, but according to http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ the port appears to be closed.

 

I've verified that there is a service listening on my end with netstat, and I've checked my iptables configuration, which is accepting all incoming connections. 

 

Is there a step I'm missing?

I don't have any issues with it, better check your config, especially iptables.

I don't think it is iptables.  "iptables --list" says:

 

Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination         

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination         

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination         
ACCEPT     all  --  anywhere             anywhere             owner UID match media
DROP       all  --  anywhere             anywhere             owner UID match media
 

 

It might be something else in my configuration, but I don't know where else to look. 

 

I'm really trying to figure out why I can't seem to connect to torrent trackers anymore.  My original guess was that it had something to do with not allowing incoming connections, but perhaps it is something else?

Update:

 

I just tried a different server.

 

Sirius was not working, but Lesath seems to be doing fine.  I can connect to trackers, and the forwarded port now appears to be open.  Maybe the issue is with Sirius?

Have no issues with Port Forwarding on Sirius, US.

 

Just continue using Lesath, CA (and see if you can somehow mark this post as Answered).
