This is an excellent talk about current fingerprinting methods that don't need to rely on cookies or user agent strings.

It also sheds light on how ineffective certain kinds of "privacy-enhancing" addons are at spoofing user-identifiable information - in some cases they even increase the risk of being uniquely fingerprinted.

Since 'Ronald ' has posted this exact same message on 2500 other forums, he will likely be too busy to spend much time here :ban:

Good point.
I just.. just wanted to be nice.. :(
Searched for the string on the net and found it at least twice. It's completely unclear to me why people copy&paste it. :D

Hey gigan3rd, Frohe Festtage! 'Ronald' is a spambot. Admin does a fantastic job of keeping this forum free of spam, but occasionally one will slip through.

Googling the exact string "Hi to all members on this community i am thanks to the administrator of this forum for approve my account" is now showing 3500 hits. Clicking through some results shows a few forums have banned or deleted 'Ronald', but most have not spotted 'him', so don't feel bad about welcoming a robot :asd:
