  1. Hey folks, I wanted to give Asahi Linux a shot and tried to install the Eddie Client on my machine. When starting the program, the UI is presented to me as a black window (which can't be closed). Any ideas what the issue might be? Thanks in advance and best regards

  3. So i downloaded the config files from AirVPN, set it to Linux, tried both UDP and TCP, in the network connection i did import saved VPN configuration and i save that. Then i try to connect to it and nothing. "connection failed because VPN connection timed out" I tried this both in sys-net, AppVM, and in proxyVM based on fedora-23. not sure what i'm doing wrong?
  4. Hi, I've tried a few different instructions for disabling IPv6 in older versions of Fedora or Linux generally, and I have had no success. Is anyone else having problems with IPv6 leaks in Fedora, even after attempting to disable IPv6? Does anyone have any suggestions for solving this issue? Thank you
  5. Greetings, Long Story short; I have a Netgate APU with pfSense configured with one "Clear" Network, i.e. no VPN connection, and one VPN Network connected to AirVPN. The clear network has the WiFi AP on it, and most of the time, my laptop (Fedora 25) is connected to the Clear network, but is connected to another VPN provider separately. However, running DNS leak test (dnsleaktest.org, whoer.net etc) sometimes shows the AirVPN DNS on the Clear network, both then devices are connected to a seperate VPN on the clear network, and when they are not. Is this an AirVPN issue, or some sort of lacking pfSense configuration? Would this perhaps be a questions better suited for the pfSense forum? Thanks for any help.
  6. The client worked correctly in Fedora 22 (with Beesu). Today I upgraded to Fedora 23 and now it will not start, nothing happens. This is the AirVPN client 2.10-0. Where is the client saved so I can try launching it directly from a terminal window? BTW, I am not a Linux guru at all. Suggestions?
  7. Hello everyone! I am using AirVPN on Fedora 25 and the first week it worked perfectly. But, as I got a router (D-Link DIR-868L) this week I have started noticing DNS Leaks occurring now and then, and if I bypass the router by connecting straight to wall the DNS leaks go away. It doesn't seem to matter what way I have of connecting to the VPN, I have tried Gnome-Network-Manager, Eddie and using the terminal and it is all the same. How can I fix this?

  9. I've been running Fedora 22 for a while and had to install beesu in order to get Eddie functioning, however having beesu installed is causing me issues when it comes to upgrading to Fedora 23. I'm thinking of going to OpenSuse KDE but will I need to install beesu on Open Suse in order to get Eddie working? I'm open to all ideas here as I'm still a Linux noob so the more input the better. Thanks
  10. Hello, I am fairly new to Fedora 22 and Linux in general, having only been using said OS for about 3-4 weeks. I've been constantly using this VPN service on my other OS (Windows 10) with absolutely no issues. However, I'm having an incredibly hard time getting the client to work on this OS. Every time that I attempt to connect to a server, the client begins to connect, disconnects, and restarts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 11. I use Fedora22(MATE). When I am going to install client, an error occurs. Is there the solution?
  12. Hi I've tried to heed the advice given in the how-to thread for this, but I haven't been able to alter it to work for Firewalld. Programs mentioned in the thread like Firestarter and gufw don't seem to be in the repos. My best development so far has been using the "Panic mode" function to block all traffic, and then allowing only certain programs. However I'm not sure what to allow in order to get OpenVPN to work (other than OpenVPN obviously). Can anyone please help with this?
  13. I just downloaded a new configuration from the config generator. I created one for Asia and one of USA. I used the generator to make the generator create separate files for the keys, certs. 14. I tried the guide to plugging leaks from the "how to" section. It has taken a long time to get the various components to compile on Fedora. Now I ran the s/w I can't access the outside world, except for the local subnetwork. Here is the output of iptagles -L -v. Can someone spot the mistake? To test, I tried adding 8.8.8.8 (a DNS) to try to ping it. That doesn't work. Neither can I ping my router which is on 192.168.1.1. My NAS is 192.168.1.111. I can't ping that either. The s/w is running on Fedora 20 in a virtual box. This has IP 192.168.88.136 (static). The computer it is running on has IP 192.168.88.1 (through VMWare). I can ping 192.168.88.1 OK.
